I saw Megan Fox on the cover of GQ, and if her acting is anything like her modeling, she is nothing more than an attractive wooden dowel. Upon find the rest of her pics at GQ.com, she puts absolutely nothing into any one of her shots. She’s so stiff, I might as well have drawn her.

I don’t really understand the bailout coming from a government with record debt its own damn self. They’re borrowing money on borrowed money. I’m sure the USSR was in a similar situation right before it collapsed.

so, A has been watching Heroes a lot lately. She’s trying to get through Season 2 before Season 3 starts. I think I’ve figured it all out. Come Season 8, it will be revealed that Mr. Muggles has been the true mastermind behind everything since Season 1.

I find myself every election year, getting fired up, trying to speak reason with the country (well, the country of people who actually read my blogs and whatnot) and I am reminded that people will continue to disappoint you, through stupidity, selfishness, or gullibility, we’ve managed to have George W. Bush in office for 8 years. And with these same faults of humanity rearing their ugly heads again, we’ll have the same or worse in office for another 4 years.

As R. Stevens of Diesel Sweeties has said, “Dare To HOPE. Prepare To Be Disappointed.” I say “HOPE just gets your head bashed in.” (see above cartoon)

I was reading some unenlightened comments made in response to an equally unenlightened column, and I sat with mouth agape reading someone actually proposing VP candidate Sarah Palin as the prototype for “The New Feminist” hailing the day of bra burning and rallying for Roe v. Wade over. Okay, first of all, when was the last time any huge group of women went out bra burning, and secondly, I’m sure plenty of new and old feminists appreciate having a choice in their pregnancies, especially those who are victims of rape, incest and women in danger of dying due to complications of pregnancy (all of which Ms. Palin opposes.) Of course, none of this matters. You can hoot and holler and jump and shout, and either people agree or aren’t listening, sticking their head in the fucking sand, or just don’t really give a damn about what might be good for anyone else in this country. You can take a page out of the Democratic play book from 1984, and call yourself progressive, and they will only love you more for it. Apparently, being 24 years behind the times is the new hip thing to do.

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s husband has refused to testify in the investigation of his wife’s alleged abuse of power, and a key lawmaker said Thursday that uncooperative witnesses are effectively sidetracking the probe until after Election Day.

Earlier this week, Alaska Attorney General Talis Colberg said the governor, who was not subpoenaed, declined to participate in the investigation and said Palin administration employees who have been subpoenaed would not appear.

In response to the recent SNL skit, where Amy Poehler as Hillary demands the media grow a pair about asking Palin tough questions…this video is a glaring example of the duplicitious nature of not only the GOP but their spin doctors as well. The gender card anyone?

You know, it’s not really McCain-Palin that scare the shit out of me. It’s the American people that buy this shit, over and over, and over again. I guess it might be true that people get the leadership they deserve.
